Long cables often have to be coiled into a ring after assembly. The Metzner CRC series cable ring coiler has been developed for this application. Metzner CRC 350 — The cable ring coiler with synchronous control, for cable rings up to 350 mm outer diameter. The cables are automatically fed into the coiling mandrels via a guide tube, the coiling process starts and stops program-controlled. After completion, the mandrels lower automatically, the protective bonnet opens and the finished cable ring can be removed.
The Metzner CRC 450 Duo is an automatic cable ring coiler with synchronous control for cable rings up to 450 mm outer diameter. With the two coiling plates, the operator removes the finished cable ring while the machine coils the next cable on the other plate. This means that coiling takes place without any waiting time. With the Metzner CRC 750 you can wind cable rings with an outer diameter of up to 750 mm. With a permissible coiling weight of up to 80 kg and a coiling inner diameter of 250 — 600 mm, the CRC 750 is also equipped for heavy-duty requirements and can handle the entire cable spectrum of the AM 5000 series up to 35 mm cable diameter. All cable ring coilers also offer the option of operation as a stand-alone unit, independent of a cable processing machine for other coiling tasks. Here, the work steps are activated via a foot switch. The foot switch controls the following functions: Close protective bonnet, start coiling process, end coiling process and open protective bonnet.
PROGRAM-CONTROLLED WINDING DIAMETER
The diameter of the cable coils is freely programmable and thus designed to meet your requirements.
PRECISE STARTING POSITION
The starting position of the winding plate and the tensioning mandrels are precisely adjustable.
The beginning of the cable to be coiled is guided by the mandrels on the coiling plate during coiling and is thus automatically clamped.
ERGONOMIC MATERIAL REMOVAL
By lowering the winding mandrels, the material can be removed ergonomically at working height.
