Metz­ner DRS devices are sui­ta­ble for fee­ding coiled goods such as cables or hoses with low ten­si­le sen­si­ti­vi­ty to down­stream pro­ces­sing machi­nes. In com­bi­na­ti­on with a fee­ding device, your cables are fed to the pro­ces­sing machi­ne wit­hout tension.

The pas­si­ve mate­ri­al unwin­d­ers of the DRS 1 series with dou­ble-bea­ring rol­ler axis are sui­ta­ble for unwin­ding spools, cable reels, stran­ded wires and hoses weig­hing up to 20 kg. The mate­ri­als are ten­sio­ned in just a few steps.

Metz­ner DRS 2.850 — the prac­ti­cal solu­ti­on for unwin­ding coiled mate­ri­als such as cable rings, coils and cor­ru­ga­ted tube coils. The spool outer dia­me­ter is free­ly adjus­ta­ble by means of adjus­ta­ble bra­ckets, as is the spool width.

With the Metz­ner DRS 3.1000, Metz­ner offers a pas­si­ve hand­ling and unwin­ding device for cable reels up to 500 kg and 1000 mm outer dia­me­ter. An adjus­ta­ble unwin­ding bra­ke gent­ly bra­kes the cable reel when the mate­ri­al feed is stop­ped and, in com­bi­na­ti­on with the high-qua­li­ty 2‑bearing unwin­ding axle, also ensu­res uni­form unwin­ding beha­viour. Thanks to the robust steel pro­fi­le frame with lif­ting crank, the cable reels are picked up wit­hout much effort.
